The Multiple Library Versions Report

Overview

The Multiple Library Versions Report enables you to view information about the different release versions of a library. You can easily see the libraries for which a newer version is available, and the release dates of the original and latest versions.

When you have a large number of projects with a large number of libraries, a large quantity of multiple library version alerts can be generated from the many projects. This report helps you to implement the best practice of version uniformity, by making sure that all projects in a product have the same version for each library. By minimizing the number of different versions that require managing, it is easier to upgrade all instances of a library to the same version and potentially reduce the number of different vulnerabilities that would otherwise be introduced.
